Where: Vale Park Community Centre, Vale Park, New Brighton CH45 1LZ Date: Saturday 16th May 2026 Time: 10am - 12 noon Slow down and de-stress with our Mindful Morning in the Park We will go for a short walk in the park, complete a guided senses meditation, and collect items for art inspiration We will then return to Vale Park Community room and complete a simple guided art project based on our finds. The community room has lovely views of the park. All materials provided. No experience necessary; the session is about time for you to de-stress. Tea/coffee and cake included Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Meet like minded people. The session will be led by Christine Duncan, a local artist who also has several years experience as an NHS Occupational Therapist. Please get in touch with any enquiries. ✨Come and paint the sunset at the beautiful Dee Sailing Club ✨ A relaxed and creative evening taking in the natural beauty of the Dee Estuary from Thurstaston. Our venue, the Dee Sailing Club, is situated on top of the cliffs in Thurstaston and boasts beautiful views of the river Dee and across to North Wales- a lovely spot to watch the sunset. If the weather allows, we will sit outside to paint. But the views are just as good from the club itself and the covered veranda. Table and chair provided. You will be guided through some basic watercolour techniques and practice pieces, and then have time to apply what you have learned to a final painting (while watching the sun go down). All materials are provided. No experience necessary; the session is about time for you to de-stress. Tea/coffee, soft drinks and cake included Relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
